Stage: We typically invest in companies at Seed or Series A stage that have $500K+ in annual revenue and proven product market fit. 

Investment Size: Our usual check size for a first-time investment is ~$1 million. We invest through a Venture Fund and through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) structure that aggregates our investors’ contributions. 

Geography: We invest in companies whose primary operations and core business takes place in the USA are the focus of our investments. 

Impact: We are looking for companies with strong potential for achieving both compelling financial return and tangible impact. We prefer to invest in companies taking on upstream challenges requiring systemic solutions. 

Team: We believe that teams with different skills, experiences, and perspectives make better decisions, build more resilient businesses, and drive innovation. Also, founders who bring different perspectives and lived experiences are often better positioned to identify opportunities and scale solutions in undercapitalized and underserved markets.

Non-Competitive with Portfolio: We do not invest in direct competitors to our current portfolio companies.
